Refund policy

Our goal at Margaret & Rose is to give you a seamless and transparent shopping experience. If something does not meet your expectations, we accept returns and exchanges under the conditions outlined below. Please read the following carefully before initiating a return.
1. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be in new, unused condition and remain in their original condition.
- All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact.
- A proof of purchase (such as your order number or receipt) is required.
Non-returnable
- Items include things that have been worn, used, or damaged
- Items returned after the 30-day return period.
2. How to Initiate a Return
To begin the return process, please contact our customer support team first. Do not send products back without authorization and the correct return address. When contacting us, please include:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Reason for return (with photos or videos if damaged, defective, or incorrect)
Once we review your request, we will provide:
- The specific return address.
- Detailed instructions on how to complete the return.
3. Return Shipping Responsibilities
Important Notes:
- For customer-paid returns, we do not provide prepaid labels.
- We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method for your protection.
4. Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only and will be processed in GBP (£).
- You may also request store credit or an exchange.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
5. Exchanges
We do offer exchanges for another size or color, subject to availability. If you would like to exchange an item:
- Contact our support team (help@margaretandrose.com) within the 30-day return period to request an exchange.
- Return the original item following the instructions provided (return shipping follows Section 3).
- We will ship out the replacement product once the original item is received and inspected.
6. Order Cancellations
Orders can only be canceled before they are shipped. Once an order has shipped, cancellations are no longer possible, and the return process must be followed instead. Please contact us immediately if you wish to cancel your order.
7. Restocking Fees
No restocking fees are charged on returns. However, the customer is still responsible for the return shipping cost, unless the product was damaged or defective upon arrival.
8. Return Address
The return address will be provided once your return request is approved. Do not return any products to our business office address (Kukkolankatu 11, Joensuu, Finland), as they will not be accepted. Always wait for the specific return instructions via email.
9. Legal Rights
This Return & Refund Policy does not override your legal rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your region. You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with those laws if a product fails to meet mandatory consumer guarantees.
